Lists are a big part of my life. People always tease me about my compulsive list-making. I don’t use special symbols like a bullet journal; I tend to keep things simple because that’s what works for me. I don’t want to have to decipher my lists. Here are some tips that could help you with your list making: 1. Freshen up your brain dumps. Keeping the same running list going can make you miss things. RE-WRITE YOUR BRAIN DUMP EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS. 2. Keep permanent lists. Lists that are used regularly should be made permanent like packing lists, household chores etc. 3. Write actionable to-do lists. Use action words, write in some context, write in names and due dates. Break down your to-do item into smaller steps where you can. 4. Electronic vs. Paper lists: This is a personal preference. Electronic lists give you the flexibility of moving things around.
