It has been a really busy week as I look for an apartment and I start a part-time job.

It’s been one of those weeks when I’ve just been spending all day outside and all evening working. So, by the end of the day, all I want to do is to lie on my bed, without a thought.

I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this TV show. I know it’s really old, but I still find it amusing and occasionally touching. I’ve come across this quote a number of times and every time, it seems to resonate with me.

 

  1. A book I’m reading:

48 Laws of Power (Concise Version) – Robert Greene

I am simply loving this book. I have the full version but that’s 452 pages long and quite a large book. So, I thought I’d read this shorter version to see how I get along.

The advice in this book is apt. It’s not always moral or politically correct but then, I don’t think anyone trying to gain power is too concerned with any of that. I would highly recommend this book even if you don’t follow all the advice.
