Yet again, I’m amazed at how quickly this week has gone by. We’re almost at the end of the summer holidays here in Dubai and what a summer it has been. The heat has exhausting with temperatures nearing 50 degrees Celsius. That’s 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes, you read right!!!

Writing More

I’ve been writing a lot more, and even got published. That was much faster than expected. Writing is something I love doing and I’m determined to focus more on it. Slowly but surely, I’m building my professional blog as well and will launch it by September.

Passed CFA Level III

On a very happy note, I finally passed my CFA Level III. It was a gruesome few years. Studying again in your late 30s, being a single parent with a crazy work schedule, is not easy. I am so very proud of myself for not giving up and so very grateful that I passed.

Better Days

It’s been a trying few weeks for me as I scramble to sort out my finances. I figured I would go through a lean time but the summer has been really slow this year and I’ve struggled to earn money. I’m trying to power through and keep my spirits up.

Things could be worse and probably are for many people. At times like this, I love listening to Bruce Springsteen’s “Better Days”.

Let me leave you with these thoughts for the weekend:
