We’re in the home stretch of the year, as we begin the final quarter of 2020. I know this year has been nothing but turmoil. Most of us have probably given up on our planners and goals. I mean why bother, right?
Nothing seems to have gone as planned at all. The only thing that seems to be following any agenda is the pandemic. Everyone warned us of a second wave and it seems like they were right.
I know this has been a depressing year and it’s difficult to get excited about anything really. But, that’s why we need to focus on having goals, now more than ever. Granted, we need to adjust our goals but, giving up on them is not the answer.
We still need to take care of ourselves so we need to have well-being goals – both physical and mental.
We also need to make sure that we are financially okay. It’s a tough economy and for those who are fortunate enough to have work, having “no spend” goals are a good idea.
Make sure your goals are specific and you write them down. I’ve seen this work. Goals that are more concrete, tend to be achieved.
Your goals can be as small as you want. It really doesn’t matter. What matters is that you remain focused on yourself, your family, and your life. It’s so easy to fall apart at time like this. So, let’s make sure that we make it through to the end of the year.
this is so true.. i’ve wasted enough ink and pages of my notebook trying to jot down plans and goals but this year is really different from any other years. But, im not giving up! let’s keep going!
